The CWTS Leiden Ranking Open Edition 2025 is based on bibliographic data from the OpenAlex database. The ranking uses the OpenAlex snapshot from August 2025. The ranking also uses data from an organization registry created and maintained by CWTS. This registry is partly built on data from the Research Organization Registry (ROR).
